Location of Materials

The Library of Congress classification for the law of Germany is "KK".  This is found on the 3rd floor of the Law Library on stacks 353-354.  To find other German law materials located elsewhere in the Law Library, use TALLONS, the Law Library's online catalog.

Tarlton Law Library's German Law Collection

Tarlton Law Library maintains an excellent collection of German law.  With some exceptions, the collection is in German, so the researcher who wishes to do in-depth research in German law should know German.  A lot of German law can now be found on the Web.  This guide points to online sources of German law throughout the guide.  The guide also points to English-language sources on German law, both in Tarlton Law Library and online.
